Create multiple employees at once
You can easily create multiple employee profiles at once by importing an Excel spreadsheet into Plecto.
If you’re managing a large team, Excel import is the fastest way to get everyone into Plecto. Here’s how:
Download the template:
Go to Settings > Employees.
Click the three dots in the top-right corner and select Import from Excel.
Click Download template.
Fill in the template: Open the downloaded spreadsheet and enter the following information:
First Name and Last Name (required)
Email (optional)
Team name (optional)
Parent team name (optional)
Team manager? (add "Yes" if the employee is a team manager, leave blank if not a manager)
Upload and review:
Return to the same page where you downloaded the template.
Upload your completed spreadsheet and click Preview.
Review the details carefully. If needed, adjust your spreadsheet and re-upload.
Import:
When everything looks correct, click Import.
Your new employee profiles will now appear on the Employees page.
