Step 1: Retrieve your Netsuite credentials

To integrate your Netsuite data with Plecto, you need to provide the following credentials:

  • Client ID

  • Client Secret

  • Account ID

How to find your Netsuite credentials

🔥 Client ID and Client Secret

These credentials are typically associated with your Netsuite account. To obtain them, in your Netsuite account:

  1. Go to Setup > Company > Enable Features.

  2. Click the SuiteCloud subtab.

  3. In the SuiteScript section, check the following boxes:

    • Client SuiteScript. Click I Agree on the SuiteCloud Terms of Service page.

    • Server SuiteScript. Click I Agree on the SuiteCloud Terms of Service page.

  4. In the Manage Authentication section, check the OAuth 2.0 box. Click I Agree on the SuiteCloud Terms of Service page.

  5. Click Save.

  6. Add roles to the user managing the App and access to it ("OAuth 2.0 Authorized Applications Management" and "Log in using OAuth 2.0 Access Tokens")

  7. Go to Setup > Integration > Manage Integrations > New.

  8. Create the integration and fill the fields to your liking however these fields should have the following values:

    • Check the box Authorization Code Grant.

    • Redirect URI - https://integrate.plecto.com/oauth2/netsuite/v1/callback/

    • Public Client - should stay unchecked

    • Check the box REST Web Services

  9. Click Save.

🔥 Account ID

The Account ID identifies the specific account you wish to integrate. To find it:

  1. Account ID is shown in the url that you are using to log in. Example: 0987654 in "https://0987654.app.netsuite.com/app"


Once you have retrieved all the credentials, move to Step 2 to connect your Netsuite account with Plecto.

Step 2: Integrate Netsuite with Plecto

  1. In Plecto, go to Data sources > New data source > Netsuite.

  2. Enter your Netsuite credentials and click Next.

  3. Select the data you want to import.

  4. Configure your data source settings. Here, you can change the title, choose the default date, select which fields to import, and more.

  5. Click Next to choose how much data to import and how long you want to keep it in the data source.

  6. Click Import to finish.
