Known issues and fixes

If you experience issues during the import, such as missing employees or other expected data, your OnlinePOS account may not be linked to a Headquarters (HQ) or group structure.

This doesn’t affect all users – only those whose OnlinePOS account is configured as an independent entity without an HQ.

OnlinePOS requires an HQ setup for Plecto to access certain data endpoints. Even if your business has a single location, you might need to create a Headquarters for your company in OnlinePOS to enable a successful integration.

This can be done directly in OnlinePOS and does not require changing your API credentials or affect your existing data.

If you're unsure whether your account is set up correctly, we recommend contacting OnlinePOS support and asking them to confirm that your Company ID is linked to an HQ.
